In 1980 she graduated from the Ana Maletic School for Ballet and Rhythmics in Zagreb, and subsequently from the Faculty of Science.
She has been a dancer for a long time and, since 1992, the artistic director of Zagreb Dance Company (ZPA).
As a dancer, she danced in all the important dance productions of contemporary dance expression in Croatia.
She works as the stage movement assistant in drama productions (over thirty) and on film, and as choreographer in opera productions of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb (La fille du regiment, A Masked Ball, Mirjana), Split (Manon Lescaut, Faustus), Rijeka (La Gioconda, Judith, The Barber of Seville) and Osijek (The Marriage of Figaro).
Cooperates with eminent theatre and film directors in Croatia and abroad. At the same time works on the profiling of The Zagreb Dance Company repertoire and initiates international co productions.
As the artistic director of ZPA, she works on the internationalization of the dance scene in Croatia. Under her artistic leadership, ZPA performed in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, Lithuania, Egypt, Mexico, France, Belgium and Korea.
In the year 2000, she founded The Festival of Dance and Non-verbal Theatre in Svetvincenat, the only summer contemporary dance festival in Croatia, which has the intention of growing into a Mediterranean dance centre, and thus de-centralizes dance in Croatia.
In the year 2002, she returned on the stage as performer in the M.U.R., the production made in cooperation with &TD Theatre, which was proclaimed the best dance production of the year by Radio 101.
In 2003, she choreographed a full-length production, Something maybe really personal, in cooperation with &TD Theatre.
In 2004, she received the scholarship for Courants de Monde programme by Maison des Cultures du Monde, financed by the Department for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of France. The program offered insight into organisation and production models of dance centres in France.
In 2004 she performed with Almira Osmanović in Alike by Ksenija Zec.
In 2005, she choreographed a multi-media ballet Chronostasis for the Musical Biennale.
Since 2006, she is the president of the Croatian Association of Dance Artists.
In 2007, she choreographed Stripped in co-production with The Zagreb Youth Theatre (ZeKaeM Theatre).
Since 2007, she is the selector of the dance program of the International Children's Festival in Šibenik.
