This contact improvisation workshop for the dancers of Zagreb Dance Company will be run by choreographer and pedagogue Bo Madvig at the Mediterranean Dance Centre in Svetvinčenat from 15 to 19 July, and will be presented at the opening of the Dance and Non-Verbal Theatre Festival on 19 July at 9:15 p.m. This in-residence workshop continues what has been started at the Zagreb Youth Theatre between 17 and 28 June with nine professional dancers of Zagreb Dance Company.

Bo Madvig has earned reputation as a performer, choreographer, and pedagogue all over the world. He studied and taught in Amsterdam, New York, Venezuela, Cuba, Colombia, South Africa, and Australia. He has been directing and studying the theatre of the absurd, physical theatre, art installations, psychodrama, video installations, and new dance. He has also studied at SNDO and Hogeschool vor de Kunsten in Amsterdam. It is a fusion of physical theatre and contemporary dance that has taken him and his generation to the creation of the Euro Crash style.
