Ivona Grubišić
Ivona Grubišić was born on November 21, 1996 in Zagreb. She has been dancing since she was six years old, and started her dance education at the Pinokio Dance Club and the Tala Dance Center. After graduating from the Ana Maletić School for Contemporary Dance and the School of Applied Arts and Design, she continued her dance education abroad at the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in the Netherlands, and at the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Austria, where she is currently finishing study for a dancer and teacher of contemporary dance. During her education, she learned from a number of eminent educators and participated in numerous projects by foreign dancers and choreographers (Editta Braun, Camilo Chapela, Yaniv Abraham, Michal Savfan, Heather Ware, Michael Jahoda, Laja Field, Martin Durov, Robert Hewitt, Andreas Starr, Jason Jacobs, Jarek Cemerek, Deborah Wicke Smith, Regina Van Berkel, Jianan Qu, Evangelos Poulinas, Christina Mertzani). In 2015 she became a member Association
of Professional Dance Artists "PULS". On her return to Zagreb, she started working as a teacher of contemporary dance technique at the Ana Maletić School for Contemporary Dance, and presented herself to the Croatian audience at the 9th Šibenik Dance Festival with her own dance miniature "#Red" and performance "Forward to the Past" (LajaMartin Physical Theater Company). Ivona was a member of Zagreb Dance Company from September 2019 to February 2020.
