Iva Katarinčić

Iva Katarinčić (Rijeka, 2000) earned her BA in Contemporary Dance from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb in 2022. After graduation, she remained in Zagreb, where she continues to work both as a performer and a choreographer. During and after her studies, she collaborated with a number of choreographers, including Irma Omerzo, Saša Božić, Petra Hrašćanec, Ana Kreitmeyer, Zrinka Užbinec, Matej Kejžar, Robert Clark, and Senka Baruška. Her authorial work includes S T R I P T E A S E (2024), co-choreographed with Dora Brkarić and awarded the 2024 Professional Associations Award, and the dance concert Je Šlo Fuć (2024), created in collaboration with Podmladak 2.0 of Studio for Contemporary Dance and the punk band Željezne Pilule.
Since graduating, she has continued developing her practice through workshops, with a particular interest in improvisation and collective creation. In 2025, she became a permanent member of the Zagreb Dance Company.
